COVID-19 Learning at Home Packet Week 2!

Here's a schedule for the week to give you a look at what school-at-home could be like for your student. It has ELA,Spelling, Math, and Handwriting from your packet, as well as suggestions for writing (just use that lined paper I gave you) to practice forming sentences. Remember all sentences should start with a capital and end with a period. All other letters should be lowercase, and don't forget to use your finger to help  you make spaces between words! This schedule has been tweaked a bit based on feedback/teacher-meetings/school standards, and it'll probably look a little different next week too!

You can also login to Pearson Realize to see some fun science and math activities aligned with our curriculum:
https://www.pearsonrealize.com/index.html#/
Your studnt's login info has been sent to you via ClassDojo!

You can take pictures of your work and upload them to ClassDojo Portfolio! Or make a Google File with pictures of cute kids and their work and share it with me!

And don't forget to check Ms. Prater's YouTube channel for fun stories, songs, and activities that you can watch over and over/do over and over again while we're all at home!

Use the ASL Alphabet chart to help you practice your alphabet! Video coming soon!

PLEASE please please let me know if you have an problems/questions!

Spelling Menu #7
Follow all instructions on the Spelling Menu :)

This is the Spelling Menu we will be practcing when we return from Spring Break. I'm uploading it early in case you want to practice early. You'll notice that we'll be practicing common phonemes.I like to call them "letter teams" in which two letters work together to make a new sound.

PLEASE NOTE:
Different activities are worth different amounts of points. Do not do all the activities, just enough to add up to make 10 points TOTAL (hint you can repeat them but we do have some new ones!). Please make sure your student uses a new piece of paper for each activity and writes their name on each paper. Then please STAPLE these papers with the Spelling Menu on top.
