CCMR Indicators
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has set standards for high school students to show they're ready for college, careers, or the military. These standards, called CCMR (College, Career, and Military Readiness) indicators, play a big role Texas high school's A-F Accountability ratings. While meeting CCMR indicators isn't required for graduation on its own, they are closely linked to graduation requirements and vary depending on a student's future plans. To help understand and plan for CCMR, students and parents can use the provided list of indicators.
CSA strives for each graduate to meet at least one CCMR indicator. Whereas there are numerous indicators in the current accountability framework, CSA students can reach CCMR readiness standards in one of the following ways:
- Meets SAT criteria
- Meets ACT criteria
- Meets TSIA2 criteria
- Completes & Passes CSA College Prep Course

Additional methods include
- Earns dual course credits (A graduate completing and earning credit for at least three credit hours in ELA or mathematics or at least nine credit hours in any subject.)
- Meets criteria on AP exams (score of 3 or higher)
- Earns an associate degree
-
Enlists in the United States Armed Forces
-
Enlists in the Texas National Guard
HOW THIS AFFECTS JUNIORS & SENIORS AT CSA
To help prepare our students for post-secondary success, CSA annually administers the TSIA2 to all juniors who have yet to meet CCMR standards in the Spring.
If a student does not meet the benchmark on the TSIA2 (or either the SAT or ACT), he/she will be enrolled in the College Prep course for the respective course during his/her senior year. This will be in addition to his/her respective math and/or English course (e.g. Math Models, English IV).
